After difficult experiences with her own dance education, Anisha is passionate about conversations surrounding mental health in the studio. Every one of her classes begins with a check-in, where the students get a moment to share how their feeling. Her infectious spirit and compassionate approach has proven to make a lasting impact on her students.

Anisha co-created Royal Caribbean’s first ever hip hop fusion show - “Spectra’s Cabaret”, alongside Moment Factory in Montreal. Her work can be seen on the Anthem of the Seas and the Ovation of the Seas cruise ships.

In Toronto, Anisha devoted much of her time to the kids at Tap Shoes & Tutus, a non-profit dance organization for which she served as Executive Director. Her experience is wide-spread, from teaching at schools, choreographing for music artists, or working with professionals at the National Ballet.

Anisha has achieved all 9 Al Gilbert Tap Exams with honours, RAD Advanced 1 with distinction, and is trained in many classic styles of hip hop.

Now, she continues to teach private classes and special workshops across Canada, with a focus on confidence building and strong technique.
